In early 2019, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine called on the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) to ensure Ohioans get the best value in providing quality care. In response, we developed a bold, new vision for Ohio’s Medicaid program – one that focuses on individual and not just the business of managed care. The implementation of the Next Generation managed care plans will occur December 1. Members will experience benefits that help address their individual healthcare needs such as increased access to care coordination and care management supports. These changes do not apply to MyCare members.
