On Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. EST, the response period for the ODM Managed Care Procurement Requests for Information (RFIs) ended.
RFI #1 focused on gathering feedback and input from providers, advocates, and individuals about their experiences with the current managed care program and suggestions for improvement. ODM received nearly 1,000 responses to this RFI through a variety of channels. Additional details on the themes of this feedback can be found by visiting the What We’ve Heard From the Individuals We Serve and What We’ve Heard From Providers pages. Additionally, the public (redacted) responses to RFI #1 can be viewed by visiting the RFI #1 Responses page on medicaid.ohio.gov.
RFI #2 - targeted toward providers, associations, advocacy groups, data and information technology vendors, and managed care organizations - outlined ODM’s vision for a reimagined statewide managed care program. In the upcoming weeks, ODM will be reviewing feedback from RFI #2 and carrying out interviews to inform future design decisions. Additional information can be found on the Request for Information (RFI) #2 page.
Throughout the procurement process, the Managed Care Procurement mailbox remains open as a way for providers, advocates and individuals to communicate to ODM about the reimagined managed care program.
